HITESH JOBANPUTRA

A versatile performer, with a unique combination of highly talented vocals and all rounder musician, who has mastered the art of playing different instruments including keyboard, congos, drums, harmonica and various percussion instruments.

A much acclaimed popular name known as “Hitesh Kumar and Party” when he was in Kenya, he has achieved equal popularity here in UK and abroad over the last two decades. He has numerous charity shows to his credit and pioneered the first African Asian band back in Kenya.

An outstanding performer with impeccable MC skills combined with unique ability to make his audience laugh, Hitesh has accomplished himself as a much demanded artist here in UK and abroad. He has gained stunning popularity for interacting with his audiences.

RAMA JOBANPUTRA

The possessor of impressive musical pedigree, Rama uses rich melodic voice to stunning effect in live performances. Trained from an early age, she entered her first singing competition at the age of eight, an early indication of her flair for competition, which culminated in her winning the very first Asian Song Contest staged in Britain.

A disciple of classical maestro Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Rama is one of the few British based female exponents of light classical music. Her live repertoire achieves a unique balance between this demanding music form and traditional Asian Folk music, which she brings to life with mesmerizing effect in live concerts.

Showcases for her distinctive talents have included film soundtracks, the world-renowned WOMAD Festival, Apna Arts Festival, Melas and many more national and international festivals at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues such as the NEC, the Symphony Hall, ICC, Brent Town Hall to name a few. Her television work includes appearances on TV Asia, Zee TV (UK and India), ITV Bhangra Beat, Sub TV, Sky Movie Channel, BBC2, Multi Media International Channel etc.
